MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531019217 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on March 4, for 'object transportation assistive device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A object transportation assistive device, comprising a platform 101 positioned on a ground surface and configured with plurality of motorized wheels 102 for providing movement to platform 101, a computing unit receives input command for loading objects over device along with specifying location at which loading is to be done, a plate 103 installed over platform 101 by means of a scissor lift arrangement 104 over which objects are loaded, a speaker 105 notifies user load objects over plate 103 as detected by plurality of load cells, plurality of pneumatic flap 106 form a barrier in order to prevent objects from falling, plurality of straps 107 to secure straps 107 over object and engage hooks 108 with plurality of latches attached with plate 103, in order to secure object with plate 103."
