MUMBAI, India, Oct. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411023100 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 24, 2024, for 'object relocation assistive device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An object relocation assistive device comprises of an extendable frame 1 having front and back portion, a hitch to enable a user to attach the frame 1 with a four-wheeler, multiple motorized wheels 3 to translate the frame 1 over a ground surface, an imaging unit 10 to determines dimensions of the object, a motorized drawer arrangement 5 to extend and retract in accordance to the detected dimensions, a pair of motorized extendable sliding to provide translation to multiple plates 4 for providing appropriate space to accommodate the object, a motorized hinge joint to tilt one of the specific plate positioned over the back portion to provide an inclined plane to a user to position the object over the tilted plate, a weight sensor to monitor weight of the object, and multiple pneumatic blocks 7 to extend and retract to provide friction to the accommodated object."
