MUMBAI, India, Oct. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411022857 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 23, 2024, for 'object relocation assistive device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A object relocation assistive device comprising a platform 1 having front and rear side positioned over a ground surface by means of plurality of motorized wheels 2 arranged beneath platform 1, microphone 4 installed over platform 1 to receive voice command of user regarding deploying of an cover over object positioned over platform 1, artificial intelligence based imaging unit 5 mapped over platform 1 to determines dimension of the object, a motorized roller 6 installed over platform 1 and wrapped with a strap that is accessed by user to engage strap around an object positioned over platform 1 that is to be transported, multiple inverted U-shaped telescopic bars 7 equipped with flexible sheet mounted over lateral sides of platform 1 by means of a pair of motorized pivot joints to provide rotation to bars 7 in a manner to position bars 7 at pre-defined angle to deploy sheet over object."
