MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411023506 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 25, 2024, for 'object lifting device for wells.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An object lifting device for wells, comprising an elongated frame 1 held by a user and configured with a motorized clamp 2 via an electromagnet 3 and connected with a vertical platform 4 positioned on a ground surface via a string 9, a microphone 5 enables the user to give voice commands for lifting an object from the well, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 6 detects exact location of the object, a laser projection unit 7 projects a laser beam to guide the user in aligning the frame 1 over the object, an ultrasonic sensor detects depth of the object, a motorized roller 8 configured with the string 9 unwraps the string 9 to position the clamp 2 in contact with the object, plurality of suction cups for adhering the platform 4 on the ground surface, and a pressure sensor detects pressure applied by the clamp 2 on the object."
