MUMBAI, India, May 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611027004 A) filed by Fiberise Fit Pvt. Ltd., New Delhi, on March 7, for 'nutritional composition for multi-phase sleep optimization and method for preparation thereof.'
Inventor(s) include Diwakar Vaish; and Sakshi Dhall.
The application for the patent was published on May 1, under issue no. 18/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses a nutritional composition for multi-phase sleep optimization and a method for preparation thereof, designed to support sleep initiation, sleep depth, and sleep continuity through a synergistic nutraceutical formulation. The composition comprises L-Theanine (50-500 mg), Gamma-Aminobutyric Acid (100-1000 mg), magnesium (500-1500 mg), zinc (5-30 mg), resistant dextrin (3-15 g), and vitamin B6 (1-5 mg). L-Theanine and GABA promote sleep initiation through modulation of inhibitory neurotransmission and alpha brain wave stimulation. Magnesium and zinc enhance sleep depth by supporting neuromuscular relaxation and stabilization of GABAergic signaling. Resistant dextrin and vitamin B6 maintain sleep continuity through stabilization of nocturnal metabolic activity and neurotransmitter synthesis. The invention further discloses a method for preparation involving blending, granulation, and formulation into nutraceutical dosage forms including capsules, powder sachets, tablets, or beverages. The composition provides integrated multi-phase sleep support through coordinated neurochemical and metabolic regulation."
