MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511113445 A) filed by Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary University, Gurugram, Haryana, on Nov. 18, 2025, for 'nutraceutical composition for managing menstrual disorders and method for preparation thereof.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Sarika Trimbak Shinde.

The application for the patent was published on Jan. 9, under issue no. 02/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A nutraceutical composition for managing menstrual disorders comprises of i) rice in a range of 10-20% by weight, ii) cow milk in a range of 35-45% by weight, iii) clarified butter (ghee) in a range of 1-5% by weight, and iv) water in a range of 35-45% by weight. A method for preparation of the nutraceutical composition comprises the steps i) soaking rice for 2-3 minutes, ii) cooking the soaked rice in a pan with milk and water for 40-50 minutes on medium flame, and iii) adding clarified butter (ghee) post-cooking to obtain a semi-liquid porridge consistency."
