MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517085181 A) filed by Curevac Se, Tubingen, Germany, on Sept. 8, for 'novel lipid nanoparticle formulations for delivery of nucleic acids.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention provides novel ionizable lipids and novel lipid nanoparticles comprising messenger RNA (mRNA) useful for the delivery of nucleic acids, related pharmaceutical compositions or vaccines as defined herein for use in human or veterinary medicine, in particular for use in the treatment and/or prophylaxis of cancer diseases."
