MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517065560 A) filed by Celon Pharma S. A., Kielpin, Poland, on July 9, for 'novel ionizable lipid compounds for nucleic acid delivery.'

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 1, under issue no. 31/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Novel ionizable lipid compounds, compositions comprising such ionizable lipid compounds, and related methods of their use are disclosed. Nanoparticle compositions include a novel lipid as well as additional lipids such as phospholipids, structural lipids, and PEG lipids. Nanoparticle compositions further including biologically active agents, such as siRNA or mRNA, are useful in the delivery of said biologically active agents to subjects in need thereof."

The patent application was internationally filed on Dec. 26, 2023, under International application No.PCT/IB2023/063252.
