MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517073614 A) filed by Eli Lilly And Company, Indianapolis, on Aug. 1, for 'novel compounds for tau imaging.'
Inventor(s) include Attardo, Giorgio Giovanni; Clemens, Jennifer Williford; Horchler, Carey; Hoye, Adam Thomas; Li, Ximin; Ogikubo, Junichi Kent; Terranova, Kristen Marie; Thieu, Tho Van; and Ghosh, Shyamali.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 22, under issue no. 34/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure provides novel compounds of the formula: (I) wherein R1, R2, R3, R4, and R5 are as described herein, methods of preparing the same, pharmaceutical compositions the same, tau imaging formuations, and methods of using the compounds for tau imaging."
