MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202421006734 A) filed by Unilever Ip Holdings Bv, Rotterdam, Netherlands, on Feb. 1, 2024, for 'non-staining tinted oil composition.'

Inventor(s) include Kulkarni Sameera Kaustubh; Prabhu Nikhita Balkrishna; and Punyani Supriya.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a orange tinted oil composition, the composition comprising, 0.1 to 99.9 wt% of a carrier oil or a mixture of carrier oils; 0.00001 to 2wt% of a colouring agent selected from the group of alkannin, indirubin, bixin, carotene, lycopene, capsanthin, capsorubin, curcumin, red palm oil, lutein and mixtures thereof; wherein the composition has orange tint equivalent to visible light range 590nm to 625nm."
