MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517049695 A) filed by Posco Co. Ltd., Gyeongsangbuk, Republic of Korea, on May 23, for 'non-oriented electrical steel sheet and method of manufacturing same.'
Inventor(s) include Lee, Seil; and Mun, Hyunwoo.
The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention pertains to a non-oriented electrical steel sheet and a method of manufacturing same. In the non-oriented electrical steel sheet, the area fraction of grains having a grain size less than 1/3 the average grain size may be less than 5%, and the fraction of areas in which the dislocation density is greater than 1012/m2 and less than or equal to 1016/m2 may be less than 5% of the total area."
