MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517058994 A) filed by Posco Co. Ltd., Gyeongsangbuk, Republic of Korea, on June 19, for 'non-oriented electrical steel sheet, sra heat treated non-oriented electrical steel sheet and manufacturing methods therefor.'
Inventor(s) include Hong, Jae-Wan; Lee, Sang-Woo; and Mun, Hyun-Woo.
The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a non-oriented electrical steel sheet and a manufacturing method therefor. One aspect of the present invention is to provide a non-oriented electrical steel sheet having excellent strength characteristics after final annealing, and a manufacturing method therefor. Another aspect of the present invention is to provide a non-oriented electrical steel sheet having excellent high-frequency iron loss characteristics after SRA heat treatment, and a manufacturing method therefor."
