MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517069339 A) filed by Nippon Steel Corporation, Tokyo, on July 21, for 'non-oriented electrical steel sheet, motor core and motor.'
Inventor(s) include Fukuchi, Minako; Natori, Yoshiaki; and Murakawa, Tesshu.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 22, under issue no. 34/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "This non-oriented electrical steel sheet has a composition that may undergo an a-? transformation. The composition contains 0.3% to 0.7% of sol. Al and 0.0005% to 0.0020% of Ti, with the contents of Si, Mn and sol. Al satisfying a specific relationship. When the surface of the steel sheet is measured using a scanning electronic microscope with electron backscattered diffraction (SEM-EBSD), if the area ratio of crystal grains in a {hkl}uvw orientation (with a tolerance within 10) with respect to the entire field of view is represented by Ahkl-uvw, A411-011 is 15% or more, and the number density of precipitates is 0.0001 per msup2/sup to 0.3000 per msup2/sup."
The patent application was internationally filed on Feb. 15, 2024, under International application No.PCT/JP2024/005289.
