MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541133126 A) filed by Indian Institute Of Technology, Hyderabad, Telangana, on Dec. 29, 2205, for 'non-doped blue organic light-emitting diode (oled) emitters, method of preparation thereof.'

Inventor(s) include Sivakumar Vaidyanathan; Sabita Patel; Snigdhamayee Rana; and Sandhya Rani Nayak.

The application for the patent was published on Jan. 9, under issue no. 02/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure discloses a non-doped blue organic light-emitting diode (OLED) emitters. By introducing an aggregation-induced emission (AIE) active moiety (tetraphenylethene (TPE)) and a phenyl spacer to the HLCT-typed core, phenanthroimidazole (PI) unit, four emitters with different electron donating and withdrawing groups at the N1-position. The present invention also discloses a process for preparation of these four emitters."
