MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311088272 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on Dec. 22, 2023, for 'noise cancellation enabled air propelling device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Alankrita Aggarwal; and Veerpratap Singh.
The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A noise cancellation enabled air propelling device, comprises of a frame 1 positioned on a fixed surface, a remote controller 8 wirelessly linked with an inbuilt microcontroller accessed by a user for activating/de-activating the device, multiple casings 3 arranged with the body 2 via a hollow arm 10 is manually attached by the user with the body 2, a motorized impeller 13 installed inside the casings 3 for inflowing surrounding air into the casing via an air inlet 4 installed on the casings 3, an air outlet 5 arranged with the casings 3 for directing air in pressurized form in downward direction result in generation of a thrust which in turn uplifts the frame 1 from the surface and plurality of solar panels 6 imprinted on the body 2 for generating electrical energy and storing the electrical energy into a battery associated with the device."
