MUMBAI, India, July 25 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411004738 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on Jan. 23, 2024, for 'noise-cancellation based ambience control device.'

The application for the patent was published on July 25, under issue no. 30/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A noise-cancellation based ambience control device, comprises of a cuboidal body 1 developed to be installed on wall of an enclosure and carved with a cavity 2 housed with an L-shaped platform 3, a touch enabled screen 4 installed on the body 1 to give input commands for positioning the platform 3 outwards from the body 1, a motorized slider 5 configured between the body 1 and platform 3 for translating and positioning the platform 3 outwards, a primary motorized hinge 7 assembled with a plate 6 configured with the body 1 for tilting the plate 6, an IR (Infrared) sensor positioned on the plate 6 to detect presence of the user between the platform 3 and plate 6, and a pair of secondary motorized hinges 9 assembled with a first and second flaps 8 for tilting the flaps 8 towards each other."
