MUMBAI, India, June 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517045282 A) filed by Nippon Yakin Kogyo Co. Ltd., Tokyo, on May 10, for 'ni cr fe mo based alloy having excellent surface properties and method for producing same.'

Inventor(s) include Mizuno Kenji; and Ogasawara Daiki.

The application for the patent was published on June 13, under issue no. 24/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Provided is a Ni Cr Fe Mo based alloy in which the composition of nonmetal inclusions is controlled and which comprises in terms of mass% 0.03 to 0.30% of C 0.05 to 1.50% of Si 0.05 to 2.00% of Mn 0.05% or less of P 0.005% or less of S 18.0 to 28.0% of Cr 6.0 to 15.0% of Mo 1.0% or less of Cu 0.01 to 0.50% of Al 0.01 to 0.40% of Ti 0.02 to 0.60% of Nb 15.0 to 22.0% of Fe 0.5 to 4.0% of Co 0.10 to 2.00% of W 0.0001 to 0.0100% of B 0.005 to 0.100% of N 0.0001 to 0.0060% of O 0.0001 to 0.0300% of Mg and 0.0001 to 0.0080% of Ca with the remainder being Ni and inevitable impurities."

The patent application was internationally filed on Sept. 19, 2023, under International application No.PCT/JP2023/033908.
