Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for 'New Radio Denial-Of-Service (DOS) Attack Defense Method And Apparatus' Filed by Zte Corporation

MUMBAI, India, Nov. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517095990 A) filed by Zte Corporation, Guangdong, China, on Oct. 6, for 'new radio denial-of-service (dos) attack defense method and apparatus.'

Inventor(s) include Feng, Chao; and He, Baomin.

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 14, under issue no. 46/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The embodiments of the present disclosure provide a new radio denial-of-service (DoS) attack defense method and apparatus. The method comprises: in response to a new radio DoS attack initiated by a UE, positioning the UE which initiated the new radio DoS attack so as to obtain the position information of the UE; and according to the position information, adjusting the beam coverage area of a base station, so as to exclude from the beam coverage range the UE which initiated the new radio DoS attack."

The patent application was internationally filed on Mar. 13, 2024, under International application No.PCT/CN2024/081501.
