MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517071984 A) filed by Archroma (SWITZERLAND) Gmbh, Pratteln, Switzerland, on July 29, for 'new class of disperse azo dyes, a process for the preparation thereof and the use thereof.'
Inventor(s) include Petermann, Ralf; Lauk, Urs; Pfister, Simon; Nowack, Patric; Murer, Kevin; Dreier, Romeo; Andreoli, Anton; and Sitkowska, Kaja Dorota.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The instant invention relates to azo dye of formula (1) to dye mixtures comprising said azo dye, to a process for preparing said azo dyes, to specific uses of said azo dyes and to semi-synthetic or synthetic hydrophobic fiber material, dyed or printed by said azo dyes or said dye mixtures."
The patent application was internationally filed on Feb. 15, 2024, under International application No.PCT/EP2024/053847.
