MUMBAI, India, Feb. 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611001193 A) filed by Ct University, Ludhiana, Punjab, on Jan. 6, for 'neutraceutical gummies of iron and process thereof.'
Inventor(s) include Rajesh Gautam; Dr. Nitin Tandon; Dr. Daisy Sharma; Navjeet Navee; Rani Kumari; and Komal Rani.
The application for the patent was published on Feb. 13, under issue no. 07/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a novel iron gummy composition designed to provide a convenient, effective, and enjoyable method for supplementing iron in the diet. Iron is a critical mineral essential for the production of hemoglobin, oxygen transport, and overall energy levels. The composition includes a bioavailable form of iron, such as ferrous bisglycinate or ferrous fumarate, combined with complementary ingredients like natural flavorings, sweeteners, and vitamins that enhance iron absorption and bioavailability. The iron gummies are formulated for easy daily consumption, especially for individuals who have difficulty swallowing pills or capsules."
