It is a natural plant-based source of calcium, making it especially useful for people who are lactose intolerant, vegan, or avoid dairy products. Regular consumption of makhana helps support bone strength and contributes to maintaining healthy teeth. Makhana also contains magnesium and phosphorus, minerals that work synergistically with calcium to improve bone mineralization and enhance calcium absorption. Its good protein content supports bone matrix formation, while low fat and low cholesterol levels make it suitable for all age groups, including elderly individuals at risk of osteoporosis."
