MUMBAI, India, Feb. 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611001197 A) filed by Ct University, Ludhiana, Punjab, on Jan. 6, for 'neutraceutical gummies of calcium and process thereof.'
Inventor(s) include Ankita Rangra; Dr. Nitin Tandon; Dr. Yogendra Pal; Dr. Sharuti Mehta; Manpreet Singh; and Avinash Kaur Sohal.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention provides a novel chewable calcium gummy supplement designed to enhance calcium intake in a palatable, convenient, and bioavailable format. The formulation includes calcium in readily absorbable forms such as calcium citrate, calcium carbonate, or calcium lactate, combined with synergistic nutrients like Vitamin D3, magnesium, and Vitamin K2 to support optimal calcium absorption and utilization. This invention is particularly beneficial for populations at risk of calcium deficiency, including children, adolescents, pregnant women, and the elderly. The gummies are flavored naturally, free of artificial additives, and can be formulated for vegan preferences."
