MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517073467 A) filed by Beijing Tuo Jie Biopharmaceutical Co. Ltd., Beijing, on Aug. 1, for 'neuroprotective psd-95 polypeptide inhibitor and use thereof.'

Inventor(s) include Wang, Qianqian; Wu, Fangzhou; Hu, Dongmei; Qu, Liang; Tang, Jingjing; and Wang, Lei.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 22, under issue no. 34/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Provided are a neuroprotective PSD-95 polypeptide inhibitor and the use thereof. Specifically, provided are a series of active peptides that can bind to a PDZ1 domain or PDZ2 domain of PSD-95, and a pharmaceutically acceptable salt and pharmaceutical composition thereof. The active peptide has a structure as represented by formula (I), (I), and can be used as an inhibitor of protein-protein interaction mediated by PSD-95 for the treatment of stroke and nervous system related diseases."
