MUMBAI, India, Jan. 23 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511125187 A) filed by Chandigarh University, Mohali, Punjab, on Dec. 11, 2025, for 'neuro-quantum bio-interface system for emotion-responsive adaptive computing and mental wellness applications.'
Inventor(s) include Siddharth Arora.
The application for the patent was published on Jan. 23, under issue no. 04/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses a Neuro-Quantum Bio-Interface System that non-invasively detects, decodes, and responds to human emotional states through quantum-level neural sensing and artificial intelligence. The system features a Bio-Quantum Sensor Array comprising graphene electrodes and spintronic nano-sensors for capturing sub-neural spin transitions and weak biomagnetic signals. A Quantum Signal Pre-Processing Unit preserves quantum coherence and removes noise, enabling accurate downstream analysis by a Quantum Neural Network (QNN)-based Emotion-Decoding Engine. A Learning and Personalization Module applies reinforcement learning to establish individualized emotional baselines and refine emotional predictions over time. An Adaptive Output Layer converts decoded emotional states into real-time modulation of external devices, including lighting, AR/VR interfaces, and sound systems. Operating at room temperature, the invention provides an intelligent, personalized, and quantum-aware emotion-adaptive computing framework for enhanced mental wellness."
