MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511115227 A) filed by Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary University, Gurugram, Haryana, on Nov. 21, 2025, for 'neural signature-based anger management system.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Reena Badhwar.
The application for the patent was published on Jan. 9, under issue no. 02/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A neural signature-based anger management system, comprises of a multi-channel EEG headset 101 for capturing raw brainwave data from frontal and temporal lobe areas associated with emotional control, a proprietary neural signature module 201 configured to process the raw EEG data to filter artifacts and isolate specific frequency and amplitude markers defining an anger-escalation neural signature, an anger efficiency scoring (AES) module 202 for translating the neural signature into a continuous quantitative score, an adaptive neurofeedback module 203 to automatically trigger targeted sensory feedback proportional to the AES, guiding the user's brain toward a calmer state, a data logging and reporting module 205 to securely record user session data to track the long-term effectiveness of the system and measure improvements in self-regulation efficiency, and a targeted anger-specific training module 204 configured with pre-fed routines to selectively target and suppress neural patterns associated with anger and emotional dysregulation."
