According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Provided in the present application are a network configuration method, and a communication apparatus and a related device. The method comprises: a network device determining a configuration mode of a plurality of supplementary uplink (SUL) carriers for uplink transmission; and the network device processing the plurality of SUL carriers on the basis of the configuration mode, wherein the network device processing the plurality of SUL carriers on the basis of the configuration mode comprises: not broadcasting information of the plurality of SUL carriers, or broadcasting the information of the plurality of SUL carriers by using one piece of remaining minimum system information (RMSI), or broadcasting information of any one of the plurality of SUL carriers by using one piece of RMSI. It can be seen that the method can configure a plurality of SUL carriers, such that the capacity of the SUL carriers can be increased; and a network device may not broadcast information of one or more SUL carriers or may broadcast the information of the one or more SUL carriers by using only one SSB/only one piece of RMSI, thereby reducing system overheads, and facilitating an improvement in an uplink/downlink throughput rate."
