MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411006956 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Feb. 1, 2024, for 'net installation assistive device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Ankur Singhal; Dr. Tarun Singhal; Dr. Rajdeep Singh; Rohit Singh; Piyush Kumar; Vaibhav Gupta; and Neha.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A net installation assistive device, comprise of a body 1 having first and second portion carved with multiple threads, a member 2 attached at second portion of body 1 and paired with a cam based ratchet and pawl arrangement for rotating roller results in a to and fro motion of hook, a microcontroller actuates disc to rotate as means of rotating roller results in a to and fro motion of hook to move member 4 for pulling net towards frame, a screw dispensing arrangement 3 includes a cylindrical member 4 stored with a screw attached with a motorized slider to slide member 4, a motorized screw driver 6 to fasten screw for attaching net with frame as means of installing net in a secured manner and a telescopically operated rod interlinked in between screw driver 6 and body 1 to extend/retract for applying an appropriate pressure while fastening screw."
