MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517079253 A) filed by Lg Energy Solution, Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on Aug. 21, for 'negative electrode current collector and can-type secondary battery.'

Inventor(s) include Jeong, Yeon Beom; Moon, Jae Won; Yu, Hyung Kyun; Paeng, Ki Hoon; and Na, Seon Hyeong.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A negative electrode current collector according to the present invention is 6-10 ? thick and has work-hardening exponent n of 0.10-0.25 according to the following formula 1. [Formula 1] s = K en where s is true stress, K is a strength coefficient, e is true strain, and n is a work-hardening exponent."

The patent application was internationally filed on Feb. 29, 2024, under International application No.PCT/KR2024/002692.
