Inventor(s) include Sanamdeep Singh; Sonia Rana; Dr. Pooja Sharma; Dr. Ritu Pawan; and Dr. Sonia Malik.
The application for the patent was published on Dec. 12, under issue no. 50/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure provides a nano bioactive composition for controlling herbicide-resistant weeds in cereal crops which comprises 0.5% to 5% w/v solution of a fungal microbial agent i.e. Trichoderma viride. Further, the nano bioactive composition comprises 0.1% to 2% w/v solution of a nano encapsulating agent. The nano-encapsulating agent is chitosan. Further, the nano bioactive composition comprises 0.1% to 0.5% w/v solution of an acetic acid. Further, the nano bioactive composition comprises 0.01% to 0.5% w/v solution of a cross-linking agent and the cross-linking agent is sodium tripolyphosphate (TPP). Further, the nano bioactive composition comprises 0.05% to 1% w/v solution of a surfactant and the surfactant is Tween 80. Furthermore, the nano bioactive composition comprises 0.01% to 0.2% w/v solution of a pH stabilizer i.e. phosphate buffer and the balance being the deionized water."
