MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511105652 A) filed by Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur, Rajasthan, on Oct. 31, 2025, for 'nail paint applying assistive device.'

Inventor(s) include Megha Dadhich.

The application for the patent was published on Dec. 12, under issue no. 50/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A nail paint applying assistive device, comprising a platform 101 positioned on a fixed surface, a plurality of suction cups 102 to secure the platform 101 on the surface, a touch interactive display panel 103 to provide command regarding application of nail paint on nail of finger(s), a holding unit 104installed on the platform 101, an imaging unit 105 to detect positioning of the finger(s), a cylindrical member 106 to accommodate a nail paint bottle, an air inflating unit to inflate an inflate member 107 to secure the bottle in the member 106, a first robotic arm 108 to position a plate 109, a plurality of motorized hinge joints 110 to angularly adjust the plate 109, a second robotic to dip a brush 112 attached with the second arm 111, a motorized ball and socket joint 114 for providing a better angle for dipping the brush 112."
