MUMBAI, India, Jan. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511105035 A) filed by Chitkara University; and Chitkara Innovation Incubator Foundation, Rajpura, Punjab, on Oct. 30, 2025, for 'muscular therapeutic device.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Shilpi Singhal; Anshula Chaudhary; and Bhanita Medhi.

The application for the patent was published on Dec. 12, under issue no. 50/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A muscular therapeutic device, comprising a pliable member 101 adapted to be positioned around a body part of a user, a fastening means provided with the member 101, enabling secure attachment around the body part, a muscle monitoring unit 202 installed with the member 101 tracks muscle activity, fatigue, and weakness, a sensing unit 203 embedded in the member 101 monitors oxygenation, blood flow, and inflammation, a heating element 102 embedded in the member 101 imparts heat, a cooling unit installed with the member 101 provides coolness to the body part, a massage unit 204 delivers massage, a dispensing unit 205 applies therapeutic fluid onto the body part, a touch-enabled display unit 104 mounted on the member 101 allows the user to view operational information and input preferences."
