MUMBAI, India, May 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311079836 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Nov. 24, 2023, for 'multipurpose carriage device for personal belongings.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A multipurpose carriage device for personal belongings comprises of a triangular shaped body 1 utilized by a user to store various belongings, a strap 4 wrapped over a roller 5 for securing body 1 with user, a camera 6 to capture multiple images of user, a telescopically operated arm 8 for applying a force to user's shoulders for maintaining appropriate posture, a touch enabled screen 9 for allowing user to enter command, a speaker 10 for notifying user regarding positioning body 1 over a fixed surface, an expandable flap 11 for expanding/contracting to allow user to sit over flap 11, a telescopically operated U-shaped frame 12 for providing a support to body 1, a rain sensor for detecting presence of rain and a motorized pivot joint installed with multiple pneumatic links 13 wrapped with a sheet 14 to provide an angular movement to links 13 for covering body 1."
