MUMBAI, India, June 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517049754 A) filed by Kowa Company, Ltd., Aichi, Japan, on May 23, for 'multiplexer.'
Inventor(s) include Azegami Tomohisa; Namiki Kenichi; and Fukuda Tomoya.
The application for the patent was published on June 13, under issue no. 24/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A multiplexer 100 according to the present invention comprises: an input unit 11 to which multiple image signals acquired by the respective ones of multiple imaging devices 2 and based on a first data communication standard are inputted; an output unit 14 that outputs a signal based on a second data communication standard the data transfer rate of which is lower than the data transfer rate of the first data communication standard; an image processing unit 16 that performs imaging processing of multiple images produced by use of the multiple image signals inputted to the input unit 11 and based on the first data communication standard; a first storage unit 12 that temporarily buffers the image signals of the multiple processed images as image-processed by the image processing unit 16; and a conversion processing unit 13 that converts the image signals as buffered by the first storage unit 12 to the signal based on the second data communication standard. According to this multiplexer, the image data acquired by multiple imaging devices employing a data communication standard can be converted to the image data of a different data communication standard and outputted without the occurrence of any delay of the data transfer and of any data loss."
The patent application was internationally filed on Nov. 29, 2023, under International application No.PCT/JP2023/042644.
