According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "According to the invention, in order to enable the production of fish scale seam patterns in a multiple arc joining method, in each arc joining process, at least one joining parameter (FPa, FPb), which influences a deposition rate A of the arc joining process dependent on the wire feed speed (vDa, vDb) and the joining wire (5a, 5b), is varied by means of a periodic variation function (Va, Vb) with a variation frequency (fV), so that, as a result of this variation, in each arc joining process, the predefined time curve of the wire feed speed (vDa, vDb) and the predefined time curve of the joining current (IFa, IFb) are periodically varied according to the variation function (Va, Vb)."

The patent application was internationally filed on Apr. 16, 2024, under International application No.PCT/EP2024/060284.
