MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517064241 A) filed by Presspart Gmbh & Co. Kg, Marsberg, Germany, on July 4, for 'multipart closure device for medical active substance container.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention relates to a multipart closure device (2) for coupling to a medical active substance container (1) with a suitable collar (101). The multipart closure device (2) comprises a sealing stopper (20), a stopper securing device (21), and a protective lid (22). The sealing stopper (20) can be secured on the active substance container (1) by means of the stopper securing device (21) so as to seal an opening in a bottle neck (10) of the active substance container (1) and so as to allow an air-tight removal of a liquid active substance. The stopper securing device (21) comprises a securing cage (210) made of a thermoplastic, comprising a central ring (2101), a central opening, and a lateral wall (2102), wherein one or more latch elements, in particular a plurality of molded undercut webs (2103), protrude away from the inner surface of the lateral wall (2102) in the direction of the longitudinal axis (L), a stopper engagement edge (2105) molded onto the securing cage (210) engages into a cage edge recess (2022) on the sealing stopper (20), and the protective lid (22) is releasably secured to the stopper securing device (21)."
