MUMBAI, India, Nov. 21 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517097328 A) filed by Murata Manufacturing Co. Ltd., Kyoto, on Oct. 9, for 'multilayer ceramic capacitor.'

Inventor(s) include Nishikori Makoto.

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 21, under issue no. 47/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Provided is a multilayer ceramic capacitor wherein the capacitance can be increased without increasing the size of the multilayer ceramic capacitor, even in a multilayer ceramic capacitor with a high voltage tolerance specification. In this multilayer ceramic capacitor 1, a plurality of internal electrode layers include a first internal electrode layer 31, a second internal electrode layer 32, and an intermediate electrode layer 33. The coverage of at least a section of the intermediate electrode layer 33 is higher than the coverage of a region on a first end surface LS1 side of a first facing section 31A of the first internal electrode layer 31, and is higher than the coverage of a region on a second end surface LS2 side of a second facing section 32A of the second internal electrode layer 32."

The patent application was internationally filed on Mar. 12, 2024, under International application No.PCT/JP2024/009640.
