MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517063123 A) filed by Murata Manufacturing Co. Ltd., Kyoto, Japan, on July 2, for 'multilayer ceramic capacitor.'
Inventor(s) include Onishi, Kosuke.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 1, under issue no. 31/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Provided is a multilayer ceramic capacitor in which the extension of a crack from the tip of an external electrode to the inside of the multilayer ceramic capacitor can be suppressed. In a multilayer ceramic capacitor 10 according to the present invention, a first external electrode 24a and a second external electrode 24b respectively have first main surface electrode parts 26a1, 26b1, second main surface electrode parts 26a2, 26b2, third main surface electrode parts 26a3, 26b3, and fourth main surface electrode parts 26a4, 26b4 which are disposed on a first main surface 12a. On the first main surface 12a, when the length of the first main surface electrode parts 26a1, 26b1 is denoted by length A, the length of the second main surface electrode parts 26a2, 26b2 is denoted by length B, the length of the third main surface electrode parts 26a3, 26b3 is denoted by length C, and the length of the fourth main surface electrode parts 26a4, 26b4 is denoted by length D, a relationship of length A length B length C length D is satisfied."
The patent application was internationally filed on Jan. 18, 2024, under International application No.PCT/JP2024/001184.
