Rakhi Jaykumar Bharadwaj; Vishnu Rajendra Sonwane; Avdhut Suhas Dani; Riya Ganesh Dasari; Yash Pramod Deore; and Yash Manoj Deshmukh, Pune, Maharashtra, on Nov. 24, 2025, for 'multi-zone fire detection and path finding using graph.'

Inventor(s) include Smt. Rakhi Jaykumar Bharadwaj; Vishnu Rajendra Sonwane; Avdhut Suhas Dani; Riya Ganesh Dasari; Yash Pramod Deore; and Yash Manoj Deshmukh.

The application for the patent was published on Jan. 9, under issue no. 02/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An intelligent fire evacuation system that determines and shows the safest escape path in an emergency is presented by the innovation. To identify dangerous situations, the system makes use of fire, smoke, and debris sensors placed throughout several zones. This sensor data is processed by a real-time pathfinding algorithm that uses the A-star (A*) method to determine the best and safest path to an exit. A microcontroller receives the calculated path and uses it to trigger LEDs or other visual indicators that show safe and dangerous areas. The technology ensures consistent and precise evacuation instructions by dynamically updating routes as threats change."
