MUMBAI, India, Feb. 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641007642 A) filed by Ms. Akshaya P; and Mr. Keerthi Kumar K J, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, on Jan. 27, for 'multi sensor smart watch for personalized environmental health monitoring and real time alerts.'
Inventor(s) include Ms. Akshaya P; and Mr. Keerthi Kumar K J.
The application for the patent was published on Feb. 13, under issue no. 07/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Multi sensor smart watch for personalized environmental health monitoring and real time alerts Abstract: The present invention is a wrist-worn environmental health monitoring device and method for providing personalized real-time exposure alerts. The device houses a compact multi-sensor array arranged to sample breathing-zone air through a particulate intake duct with a replaceable filter membrane within an IP-rated watch enclosure. A user profile module stores condition-specific acceptable parameter limits and an associated tolerance score (T_S). A processing module, responsive to the active profile, derives a device risk indicator (S-factor) that reflects multi-parameter environmental stress relative to the stored limits and asserts an alert state when S-factor meets or exceeds T_S. On alert, multi-modal notifications are issued locally via on-watch display, visual indicator and haptic actuator and remotely via BLE and optional wide-area communication to caregiver devices and cloud services. An Infant Mode reduces on-wrist disturbance while escalating caregiver notification. Low-power sampling, calibration and fallback routines support reliable wearable operation."
