MUMBAI, India, May 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641064228 A) filed by Sr University, Warangal, Telangana, on May 21, for 'multi-port dc-dc converter-based wireless multi-battery charging system.'

Inventor(s) include Mrs Bachhati Latha; Dr Md. Mujahid Irfan; and Dr Butukuri Kotireddy.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Disclosed herein is a multi-port DC-DC converter-based wireless multi-battery charging system (100), the system (100) comprises a power source (102) configured to supply electrical power, an inverter (104) configured to convert direct current input into high-frequency alternating current, a primary compensation network (106) configured to establish a resonant condition, a transmitter coil (108) configured to generate an electromagnetic field, a receiver coil (110) configured to receive the electromagnetic field, a secondary compensation network (112) configured to maintain resonance, a rectifier (114) configured to convert the alternating electrical signal into a direct current output, a DC-link capacitor (116) configured to smooth and stabilize the direct current, a multi-port DC-DC converter (118) configured to simultaneously provide a plurality of independently regulated output supplies from a single DC input for charging a plurality of battery modules, a control unit (120) configured to independently regulate voltage and current at each output port."
