MUMBAI, India, Jan. 23 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511122471 A) filed by Graphic Era, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, on Dec. 5, 2025, for 'multi-functional eco-cool lota with integrated pot-in-pot cooling and ayurvedic water purification.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Neeraj Sharma.
The application for the patent was published on Jan. 23, under issue no. 04/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention provides a double-layer lota design based on pot-in-pot cooling. The inner component contains drinking water and is constructed from copper or silver. The outer component is constructed from porous terracotta, which cools the water naturally through evaporation. The design also includes ergonomic handles, a thermal seal neck ring, an optional herb infusion component, a new self-learning inner surface for hygiene and personal use, and a shape that makes it stable and easy to use."
