MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411008237 A) filed by Indian Institute Of Science Education And Research Mohali; and Sotwave Technologies (OPC) Pvt. Ltd., Manauli, Punjab, on Feb. 7, 2024, for 'multi-bandwidth ultrasound, thermoacoustic and photoacoustic transducer, composite sensor film and preparation thereof.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a transducer detecting large and multi-bandwidth sensitive ultrasound, thermoacoustic and photoacoustic signals, from variable source size. The present invention also provides a composite sensor film for the transducer, that comprises a plurality of composite layers, wherein the plurality of composite layers comprises polycrystalline ceramic dielectric nanoparticles; an oxide material; and a polymer. The present invention further relates to the process of preparing the composite sensor film for the transducer."
