MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411024148 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on March 26, 2024, for 'mulch blower pipe holding and mulch spreading assistive device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A mulch blower pipe holding and mulch spreading assistive device comprises a body 1 developed with plurality of motorized omnidirectional wheels 2, a curved-shaped member 3 to accommodate a mulch blower pipe, a LiDAR sensor to detect dimensions, plurality of motorized hinges 4 to modulate shape of member 3, a weight sensor to determine presence of the pipe over the member 3, an inflatable unit 5 linked with an air compressor 12 to securely grip the pipe, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 6 to evaluate 3D (dimensional) mapping of surroundings, a touch interactive display panel 7 for displaying evaluated mapping, a motorized ball and socket joint 8 to provide multidirectional movement to member 3 along with pipe, gyroscope for monitoring misbalancing of body 1, plurality of hydraulic links 9 for stabilizing body 1 and a motorized roller 10 wrapped with a strap 11 to engage strap 11 around accommodated pipe."
