MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531018005 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on Feb. 28, for 'mud brick molding device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Priyadarshi Das.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A mud brick molding device comprises of a telescopic rod 101 having rigid cushioned cylindrical bar 102 attached at top end of rod 101 for enabling user to acquire grip onto rod 101, hollow cylindrical member 103 mounted at bottom end of rod 101 by means of pneumatic plunger 104 for pressing of member into mud for molding mud into brick, plurality of rigid cylindrical bars 107 attached perpendicularly on bottom surface of plate 105 for compressing brick and making holes in brick, laser sensor installed with member detects depth of mud, tactile sensor embedded in member detecting hardness of mud, artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 108 installed on rod 101, speaker 109 attached with rod 101 generate audio alert for user."
