MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531019354 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on March 4, for 'mountable tool carriage device for trolley bags.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Santanu Kumar Sahoo.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A mountable tool carriage device for trolley bags, comprising a platform 101 positioned in contact with rear portion of a trolley bag, a curved-shaped member 102 for accommodating body of a tool to be carried by user, an imaging unit 103 for detecting exact location of edges of rear portion, motorized clamps 104 via plurality of telescopically operated rods 105 to extend for tilting and rods 105 in a suitable direction, a pair of motorized hinges for tilting member 102 away from platform 101, an ultrasonic sensor for detecting height of tool, a brush 107 installed with platform 101 via an L-shaped telescopically operated link 108 to extend for positioning brush 107 in contact with tool and a motorized two-axis lead screw arrangement 109 configured between link 108 and platform 101 for providing a suitable bi-directional motion to link 108 for appropriately removing dust from tool via brush 107."
