MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531011199 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on Feb. 10, for 'mountable shoe drying device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Tanmoy Parida.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A mountable shoe drying device, comprising an inverted frame 101 installed with a pair of clippers 102 developed to be engaged with a rope overhead of a user, an imaging unit 103 mounted on the frame 101 for detecting the rope height, a first and second pair of curved-shaped members 104 installed with the frame 101 via a pair of links, a speaker 105 mounted on the frame 101 for notifying the user, a motorized slider configured with the links to translate the links for holding the shoes between the pair of members 104 to dry the shoes, a pair of curved-shaped flaps 106 installed with the frame 101 via a pair of hinges for tilting the flaps 106 to cover the shoes and a pair of electronic nozzles installed with the frame 101 and connected with a chamber 107 to dispense liquid for eliminating the odor from the shoes."
