MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531017999 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on Feb. 28, for 'mountable essential items storage device for crutch.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A mountable essential items storage device for crutch, comprising a rectangular body 101 placed on a crutch, multiple chambers 102 allows the user to store multiple essential objects, multiple laser sensors monitoring diameter of rods of the crutch, multiple C-shaped extendable members 103 via multiple motorized hinges 104 secure the body 101 with the crutch, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 105 to determine the essential objects, a motorized slider 107 move and position a telescopically operated gripper 108 near to the evaluated chamber, a motorized pivot joint having a curved-shaped unit deploys the curved-shaped unit for covering the chamber."
