MUMBAI, India, April 20 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202514080390 A) filed by Suzuki Motor Corporation, Shizuoka, Japan, on Aug. 25, 2025, for 'mount bracket.'
Inventor(s) include Masatomo Nishizaka; Yuya Tsujimoto; and Shun Ito.
The application for the patent was published on April 17, under issue no. 16/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "It is to provide a mount bracket capable of ensuing a stiffness, even with a notch 5 to avoid an interference between the mount bracket and a peripheral component. [Solution] A fork portion 13 of a mount bracket 10 is formed in a fork shape, which includes vertical walls 31 to define spaces 27, 28, 29 above respective bolt seat surfaces 14, 15, 16. A peripheral component 5 is disposed at one side of the first bolt seat 10 surface 14 in an extension direction, so as to be closely-adjacent to the mount bracket. The fork portion 13 includes a notch 25 where a part of the fork portion located at one end of the first bolt seat surface 14 in the extension direction is cut off. A height of the second bolt seat surface 15 is heightened to exceed that of the first bolt seat surface 14, and a height of the vertical wall(s) at the second bolt seat surface is lowered by the 15 heightened height."
