MUMBAI, India, June 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517050630 A) filed by Danieli & C. Officine Meccaniche S. P. A; and Cunova Gmbh, Buttrio, Italy, on May 27, for 'mould for the continuous casting of a metal material.'
Inventor(s) include Conte, Riccardo; Leghissa, Andrea; Wobker, Hans-Gnter; Kluck, Christian; Rolf, Thomas; and Hugenschutt, Gerhard.
The application for the patent was published on June 13, under issue no. 24/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Mould (10) for the continuous casting of a metal material, having a crystallizer (13) comprising a plurality of plates (11) which define between them a casting channel (12) having a casting direction (X), and wherein at least one of said plates (11) has an internal surface (19) that delimits said casting channel (12) and an external surface (20), apposite said internal surface (19), and on which there are one or more functional grooves (2la) that develop longitudinally and have an overall length (LU) and a width that is not constant along the overall length (LU)."
