According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention of the motorized wheelchair is integrated with a detachable, open-topped pet crib designed to support both mobility and emotional well-being of individuals with locomotor disabilities. The system comprises a standard powered wheelchair frame equipped with an ergonomically designed seat, joystick-based control unit, hub-motor powered rear wheels, and a stable structure. A specially designed pet crib is mounted on the front or lateral side of the wheelchair through a reinforced attachment frame that maintains balance and user safety. The pet crib includes a ventilated metal-mesh structure, removable padding, safety harness, optional weather-protective canopy, and vibration-absorbing base. Its design ensures safe transport of small pets while allowing continuous visibility and interaction with the user, thereby enhancing emotional support. The modular, detachable nature of the crib enables cleaning, customization and flexible use. The invention provides a holistic and mindful solution by combining physical assistance with pet-assisted therapeutic benefits as if a wheelchair can be a companion, not a limitation."
